Week 100 – It’s a Wrap!

Almost two years ago, I arrived in Argentina to take part in the creation of the Sep7imo Dia show, a collaboration between Soda Stereo and Cirque du Soleil. Since then, the tour brought us to ten countries and I visited a few more on my own in both Americas; I did a couple of long-distance cycling trips; I made a few friends; I got older; I grew a beard. It was an incredible voyage, I could not have ever imagined visiting every country between the Rio Grande and Tierra del Fuego. Au contraire to Julie, I was never enchanted by South America and I still probably wouldn’t choose to retire here but I really enjoyed the natural and cultural diversity of it.

Tonight, Sep7imo Dia takes its final bow. I came here not knowing what Soda Stereo was. I am leaving a fan of their music. It was an enjoyable two years: good show, good music, good people. But everything comes to an end and it’s time to say: “Adios!”.

This week in numbers:

27 km – distance cycled
304 – shows performed by the incredible cast of Sep7imo Dia
82 – people from 18 countries in our cast and crew
564 – days on the road
