Going Down Under

Joining the circus at a young age, I have already done quite a bit of traveling. It’s been a while since I’ve wanted to visit Australia and New Zealand to see their unique animals and natural wonders. Now, after wrapping up Sep7imo Dia’s Latin American tour I have a few months off. Why not spend them Down Under, cycling on my Brompton?

The sheer size of Australia, however, makes it too difficult to cover by bicycle, let alone on a Brompton, in the relatively short time that I have. So, I chose New Zealand as my cycling playground. I will try to follow as close as possible the Tour Aotearoa route, one of the world’s great bikepacking trips: stretching 3,000km from Cape Reinga to Bluff.

I will still go to Australia before New Zealand, but as an ordinary tourist… mostly (I am bringing Greengo with me just in case).

Fair Dinkum!
