Riding from Helensville I had two choices: go the way the Tour Aotearoa guide suggests, or the easier way. I chose the right way.
If I would have followed the Tour Aotearoa to the letter, I would have had to go through Auckland, and more precisely to Mount Eden. But I already went up there a while ago on my Brompton while visiting Auckland, and knew there was no tree of the knowledge of good and evil, so I skipped it. I saw it from afar though.
