Pan American

What makes up the Americas? It is slightly confusing: South America and Latin America are not the same; Central America is technically in North America; then there are the Caribbean and Greenland. If I count countries only in continental America, with the exception of Venezuela due to its highly volatile situation, my arrival in Paraguay meant I visited them all.
I’ll save the Caribbean for the cruises in my old age.

The Americas in numbers:

14000 km – the length of the Americas from north to south
1,001,559,000 – population as of 2016
22 – countries I have visited
1 – country left for future exploration, excluding island nations
