As relatively new kids on the block we don’t really know New York City all that well yet. So, in the past week we filled some of the gaps in our knowledge by visiting the New York Botanical Garden, the MoMA and Governors Island. Because of social distancing there were very few visitors which made it all the more enjoyable to bike, stroll and marvel. The weather was seasonal, making these outings quite pleasant. Slowly but surely we’re getting to know our hometown.
These places in numbers:

70 ha – size of Governors Island
1 000 000+ – living plants in the New York Botanical Garden
