Starting in April this year, I’ve been going on regular cycling trips—one each month, like clockwork. July is no exception. This tour kicks off in Paris, aligning with the Bastille Day celebrations (as it’s known in the English-speaking world). I’ll also wrap up the trip in Paris, possibly just in time for the final stage of the Tour de France—depending on how fast I progress. Maybe I can pretend I’m part of the Tour; I did once crash a finish line in New Zealand, after all.
For this journey, I’ll be blending three routes: La Seine à Vélo, La Véloscénie, and a custom leg I’ve mapped out between Le Havre and Mont-Saint-Michel. A bit of a cocktail. Santé, donc!
