All my friends who had visited New Zealand were raving about it, but I was a little skeptical: we all were told at some point about a great movie, book or restaurant and were later disappointed.
But New Zealand exceeded all my expectations: I am in awe of its very diverse natural beauty. Hopefully, I’ll return here with Julie one day, we’ll rent a car and I will show her the places I’ve been and visit the places I’ve missed on this cycling trip.
I am grateful for the hospitality and generousity of my WarmShowers hosts, friends and friends of friends who welcomed me into their homes!
In a few days I will start slowly making my way back home but I am not saying “Goodbye” to New Zealand, I am saying “So long!”.
