One month after my arrival in Montreal, good weather finally coincided with a day off. The snow was gone for good, fingers crossed, and I took Greengo for a spin.
Although the roads didn’t get any better since my last visit, and the innumerable construction sites made the city look like a war zone, it was a beautiful sunny day and I very much enjoyed the ride.
Since I was in a cycling mood, I registered for the upcoming Tour de L’Île de Montreal. I settled on the 50km route – not very long, but on car-free streets.
With the improving weather I hope to start commuting on my Brompton on a regular basis, maybe even as soon as tomorrow.
