While browsing cycling routes in France, I came across two gems that follow picturesque canals: the Canal de Bourgogne and the Rhône-Rhine Canal. While each route is individually fantastic, neither seemed long enough to warrant the train fare to and from starting/finishing points. But combining them could create a nice week-long cycling adventure! I’m ready to channel my inner explorer as I venture into this corner of the hexagon I’ve yet to discover.
