09/13/19 – Ronda Verde
I spent my day off, at least a part of it, on the saddle of my Brompton circumventing Barcelona. I followed the Ronda Verde, a series of interconnected paved and gravel bike paths. It took me along Besós River, through the hills of Serra de Collserola Natural Park, the Olympic Park and the city’s beachfront. I lost my way a few times, had to make detours and even carry my bike up some steep steps. Yet, the weather was pleasant, the views were nice, and the mood was good.
I came back home mid-afternoon and chilled for the rest of the day, because slowly but surely I put on 75 km that day and my legs were tired.
