A couple of years ago, I went on a cycling trip through Southern France, ending in Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port, a key starting point for many pilgrims on their journey to Santiago de Compostela. I had visited Santiago twice before, both times with Cirque du Soleil, and even then, the idea of one day traveling the Camino de Santiago crossed my mind.
It took me ten years to finally reach the moment when I was ready to commit to this 800-kilometer voyage — and now, here I go!
