When I think of my travels in numbers, often I think of Jules Verne and his oeuvres, like “Around the World in Eighty Days” and “20000 leagues under the sea”. Today, somewhere between Asunción and Formosa, I passed the 20000-km mark cycling with my loyal travel companion Greengo, a Brompton bike. Of course, leagues are much longer than kilometers so I am very far from the same number in leagues. Still, for an accidental cyclist, 20000 km is not too bad. So far, Greengo has been good to me – no major breakdowns and repairs.
